Book Donation and Reservation Platform

A mobile-first web app for a school library book drive: parents browse the wishlist, pledge a title, buy it however they like, and bring it in. Built end to end — data model, server, email and interface.

The brief was really a conversion problem dressed as a list. A spreadsheet of wanted books asks a parent to do work; presenting the same data as browsable rows with covers, languages and genres asks them to choose. Pledging holds a title so two families don't buy the same book, a transactional email carries the details to the person who pledged, and a running count makes collective progress visible.
